Vintage Hand-crafted Basket – Yucca, Willow, and Cats Claw Tohono O’odham?

Vintage Hand-crafted Basket – made from Yucca, Willow, and Cats Claw. I do not know the history or provenance or even the age of this basket, but it is certainly vintage. It was purchased at a store in Tucson, AZ within a mile of the Papago Tohono O’odham Nation and does reflect the tribes’ skill and style in this craft. It shows skillful weaving of the fibers and has three different shades.
