Ingredients (per 4 hot dogs)
- 4 hot dog buns
- 4 beef, pork, or chicken hot dogs (your choice)
- 1 tbsp butter (optional, for toasting buns)
- Toppings:
- Yellow mustard
- Ketchup
- Relish
- Chopped onions
🔥 Instructions
1. Heat the Hot Dogs
Choose your preferred method:
Boil:
- Bring a pot of water to a boil.
- Add hot dogs and cook 3–5 minutes until heated through.
Pan-fry:
- Add a small amount of oil or butter to a pan.
- Cook hot dogs over medium heat, turning until browned.
Grill:
- Preheat grill to medium-high.
- Grill hot dogs 5–7 minutes, rotating to get nice char marks.
2. Toast the Buns (Optional but recommended)
- Lightly butter the inside of buns.
- Toast in a skillet or on the grill until golden and warm.
3. Assemble Your Hot Dogs
- Place the hot dog in the bun.
